Why should I choose View by Video over other companies offering similar services?
 View by Video is the only company in this field who produces video exclusively and delivers it through dedicated streaming media servers. Unlike some other companies, video production isn't a 'bolt-on' service which is offered alongside existing products and services. Some of your package options are more expensive than other companies. Why?
We are a dedicated video production company, with the technology, equipment and expertise to give our products the edge you would expect from a market leader. We do not think your videos should look the same as everyone else’s and run the risk of becoming lost amongst an endless list of "standard packaged videos". This is why we provide a wide choice of customizable options. If you have any special requests regarding your video and the way you would like it presented, we will work with you to make it happen and are more than willing to work to your personal specifications.
Why do you charge video hosting fee's when some of the other companies don't?
This is because unlike some other companies, we host all of our videos on dedicated streaming RTMP media servers both in the US & the UK. Not only does this provide the best platform on which to display video content but it also provides our clients with the highest level of security from video hacking & illegal download. We are aware that with less secure systems your video content could be downloaded, changed and re-uploaded anywhere on the internet without you knowing about it. With our streaming servers, this isn't possible, mainly due to our bespoke remote linking technology. At View by Video, your video and its content is as safe as possible.
How can I tell if another company uses a streaming media server?
A streaming media server allows you to view the video from any point in the film, even when viewed for the first time and therefore not yet cached to your hard drive.  When you load a non streaming video for the first time, you won't be able to jump to the content between the middle or the end of the video before it loads. Another way to tell is the presence of a video loading progress bar. If there is a bar which slowly scrolls from left to right behind the timeline, this means that the video is downloading, not streaming. This is what is known as a "Progressive Download", typical of a video hosted on a standard web server and is far less secure.
You offer so many different package options. Which is the best for me?
This really depends on the size of your property, the amount of detail required and also how much you want to say about your community and its facilities. Some videos are created as a self contained sales tool; others work well alongside traditional web media such as text and graphics.  We have a large array of professional equipment at our disposal so we can cater to your exact personal specifications. Whatever it is you need - from a simple, straight-to-the-point video tour to a professionally presented and narrated corporate production, we've got you covered!
Can I change the content of my video or add more content after my video is complete?
Absolutely. Whether it’s your new games room, the latest attraction or the new restaurant in your neighborhood it makes perfect sense to include these in your video as time goes by. Partial reshoots including editing are charged at the special rate of $50 to all existing clients.
Can I choose my own background music?
Of course! We offer a current collection of 23 different tracks, all royalty free and ready to use. We also like to keep our videos as bespoke as possible, so we're constantly adding new tracks to our music library as time goes by.
What if I want my video to appear differently to other video's you've created?
Customization is our specialty! We love receiving special requests for bespoke video production. We're able to produce content in a wide variety of styles and which can be displayed in any of our 4 pre-designed video players – or one created just for you. At View by Video, there are no borders ... and no limits!
What happens if my finished video exceeds the package time allowance?
It depends on the length of the overrun. We are quite flexible, so if the video needs to be 30 seconds longer to achieve the result we are looking for we are more than happy to throw in the extra time for free. However, if you are running considerably over the limit, possibly because of extra details you need including, we have various ways to help resolve the situation.  Web video needs to be brief and to the point in order to hold the viewers attention.  So in some situations, for example, we may recommend splitting the property video and community footage into two manageable segments.
How long does it take to complete a professional video tour?
 Of course this varies according to the property and community footage to be filmed, but in the case of a Florida vacation villa we are usually on location for between 2 and 4 hours and aim to have a preview back to our clients within 48 hours. The preview stage is the point at which approval is given for the video to be rendered and any final changes made. 
Where a professional voice-over is requested we first provide you with a suggested script.  The script is designed to fit the running time of your approved video, but we welcome suggestions about the wording and you can include mention of features, such as WiFi broadband, which may not be immediately apparent from the film.   Professional voice-overs can take up to 48hrs to produce, from sending the approved script to our recording studio to receiving back the audio file ready to edit into your film.   We also rely on you to approve or amend your draft script as promptly and as accurately as possible to ensure a fast turnaround.
Can I embed the video into my own website?
Yes you can. We use the latest Flash Video technology, which is the only online media platform viewable by 98% of all internet users. It allows you to embed the video directly into your website, keeping your viewers on your site at all times with no exposure to any 3rd party content. Cheaper solutions employ branded players or links to films that open in new windows, creating a clutter of windows on the viewer’s desktop. We feel this provides a poorer viewing experience and your potential clients may lose interest. That's why we provide you with a Flash video player with no branding to put into your website. We even take care of all the nitty-gritty, leaving you with just one string of code to embed into the HTML of your website, like a YouTube video! If you're unsure how to embed this into your site, we will do it for you completely free of charge!
